HELLASTRON was the Platinum Sponsor of the 23rd International Congress on Sound & Vibration, held in Athens on 10-14 July 2016. At the Congress, organized by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV) and the Laboratory of Transportation Environmental Acoustics of the University of Thessaly in collaboration with the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics and the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers, experts from all over the world presented recent developments in acoustics both through presentations and papers, as well as through the concurrent exhibition of equipment and systems.
HELLASTRON President Mr. B. Halkias participated both as representative of the sponsor at the Opening Ceremony, as well as with a paper about the noise-mapping methodology used for the Attiki Odos project.
